| Hotel Zapf in a quiet location in Schillingsfürst next to the source of the Wörnitz river has been in our family's possession since 1906, and it has always been our motto to make our guests - and their pets - feel at home.
Schillingsfürst is an ideal starting point for excursions around Romantic Franconia and visits to the medieval cities of Rothenburg, Dinkelsbühl and Feuchtwangen, to Ansbach and Nuremberg. Hiking paths and cycling routes take you through the beautiful countryside.

Our hotel offers accommodation for 37 people in double, single and family rooms and also self-catering holiday apartments, all with private bathroom, direct-dial telephone, tv on demand.
Our cosy restaurant "Wörnitzquellenstübchen" seats 60, our dining room up to 100, and our conference room is for up to 30 people. The terrace with barbecue overlooks the tranquil garden with a pond and a waterfall, perfect for relaxing and sunbathing.
We also have a sauna, sunbed and fitness gear.
You may park your car on the premises and put your bicycles in the shed.

| Schillingsfürst with its 3,000 inhabitants is an officially recognised health resort in the heart of the Frankenhöhe Natural Park, 500 m above sea level. It has a castle museum, a falconry museum, a picture gallery of local painter Ludwig Dörfler, it is home of the Bavarian Falconry Centre where you can actually watch the eagle fly. Then there is a museum showing rural living conditions in the past and a unique ox-treadmill at the old pump house from the beginning of the 18th century. |
